How to: Track your iPhone 5 without tracking #

Anyone know how to narrow it down to if the order is being sent from Apple via UPS or FEDEX? Tired of having to check both just to be disappointed by both!

For the record: completely opposite of unemployed person here. Does not post to social networking sites in the way you describe .

I live just south of Harrisburg, PA and Apple has a warehouse just east of Harrisburg and I'm guessing that is where mine (White 64GB AT&T) is sitting since I haven't seen a shipping notice yet (still pending shippment) and is scheduled for delivery on 9/21 via Apple. They usally ship with FedEx from there... Perhaps they can just install a pickup line there!:D

Reminds me of when I tracked my new MINI Cooper across the Atlantic; however, that trip was a bit longer!

I sure hope this is true. I ordered a 32GB Black VZW model and got my confirmation at 3:11am EST. Still in "Preparing for Shipment" status.

I live right around Pittsburgh. I'd love to see FedEx instead of UPS because they usually deliver around my neighborhood at 11am.
 
Great thread! I used my order number (minus the last two digits) and it worked!
 
My order went through at 1:58 CDT and I can't get any shipment with my phone number or order number. Do you think I'll still get it Friday?
 
Hey guys, I'm able to track 3 of my shipments thanks to this thread, however my girlfriend can't seem to track hers through reference. We tried everything. If anybody has any suggestions, it will be appreciated. (for the sake of my ears:eek:)

Edit: I just realized she has holiday shipping which must mean its within the US. Hers will probably get shipped out a later.
 
I ordered two iPhone 16gb's and neither show up in UPS however, I just checked apple's support profile and I now show two iPhone 5 serial numbers. :D
 
Apple.com still shows 2 iPhone 5's as "preparing for shipping" and three lightning to USB cables as "track shipment"
Got fed ex notification that cables should be delivered September 19; requested that they be held at fed ex for pickup.
Finally, checked ups per this posting and both phones are on the ups site showing delivery by 10:30 am September 21.
One just left anchorage for god knows where and the other one arrived in anchorage 30 minutes later.
Tried to use UPS My Choice for pickup at UPS September 21 but it will only let me hold at UPS for September 24. So, will stay home Friday morning and hope they both come in the morning. Wish they had been sent by fed ex and would have had them held for pickup.
Thanks for the ups posting and apple support link -- both iPhones are listed.

I'm joining your line of thought.. yeah, I'd like to see if my phone is in some factory in Illinois or Tennessee. I can also just tell myself it is and get the same result...

Waiting until it arrives ha.

People who disagree with how I feel are not automatically mean-spirited or arrogant, because I know my feelings are not fact.

I am indeed unemployed. But I am working vigorously to gain the knowledge and skills required to achieve success on my chosen career path. But again, I am not special and I know nothing is guaranteed to me. If I can't get the job I want, I will happily take other jobs because I understand that any work is good work. Even if I end up not doing what I want to do in life, I will still be happy with my life. I am blessed to be here, blessed to be living.

And yes, I was curious to know where my iPhone was. Sorry.

Umm. Did you make 15 separate threads about each leg of your tracking journey? Did you post dramatic fearful worried posts about where and when you could expect your phone?

Or did you calmly check your tracking number for your own interest?

If you answered the latter, you are not part of the problem. And I'm not sure why you'd feel compelled to defend those who are, those with the characteristics mentioned in my post, which covers of a lot of people these days.
 
What pH number do you enter? I am adding a new line so I don't know the number for it yet,I ordered through Verizon and they charged my card today so I know its getting ready to ship
