How to: Track your iPhone 5 without tracking #

Mine worked for UPS!

Instead of my phone number I've put in my Order # minus the last 2 number.
 
Just to let everyone know the phone # is not the phone # of the phone ordered but the phone # on your iTunes account. at least thats the # mine was under. Still in China waiting to be shipped out to the US.
 
I got it working using the apple order number sans last 2 digits. For some reason though its showing 2 packages with same tracking. Maybe I'll get 2 phones :)

  • Track by reference
  • Put your phone # in under "shipment reference" or your order# minus the last two numbers
  • Put your country
  • Leave your shipper acct blank.
  • Put your zip code

I haven't recieved a tracking from apple yet, so I went this route and it show up in their system as sitting in china since the 16th, with a delivery date of the 21st.

OP needs to note that this only works for apple.com orders. Carrier website orders are out of luck for now. It's ok though, do not dispair. Tracking numbers should be sent out to everyone by Monday (tomorrow) through Wednesday.

16GB White ordered on Verizon at 11:55pm, no tracking on any of our numbers on FedEx or UPS.

Mine is in Illinois already. Is it too much of a reach to hope for a day early delivery??
 
Found mine, it's in Addison, IL... Shipped VIA UPS Next Day Air Saver, although delivery date says "21st By 3:00pm.." It could easily be here tomorrow if there was no hold...
 
Doesn't work for me using phone # or order # on either UPS or Fedex..

Same here, ordered one 32gig black and mine shows 2 packages, but it could just be a system error.

Mine is showing two order also..... what are the chances of getting two phones? :eek:

Mine shows up at 9/21 for delivery through UPS, as I expected. I have a 32gb white/silver coming.

I've noticed a few people on here being concerned that because their billing and shipping addresses were different, orders might get cancelled, delayed, or show up at the billing address. I have a different shipping address than billing and changed it after I preordered. I tried my billing zip code and got nothing, but when I used my shipping zip code it worked.

Just thought some people may want to know this, it should ease their concerns.
