So, I have a new iPhone 17 Pro Max.

I have my 2015 MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey ver 12.7.6

I have my old iPhone 7 Plus with iOS 1515.8.8

I have the Apple application known as "Music" installed on my MacBook, installed on my old iPhone 7 Plus, and installed on my iPhone 17. My iPhone 7 has a copy of Music (along with music files) originating from the Mac Book Pro.

I how do I move (or copy that is) the music files stored in Music on my 2015 MacBook Pro to my new iPhone 17 Pro Max?

Previously I'd use a Lightning cable to accomplish this - when copying from the 2015 MacBook Pro to my iPhone 7 Plus - I'd connect the Lightning cable between the two devices. I think I pressed the sync button in Finder - or something - but I'm not there yet.
