my os version is 10.12.6, sierra, to upgrade mojave, needs high sierra first ..
and high sierra needs update firmware first .
my graphics card is rx560.

now, i update the firmware, it has no video signal, i have to restart my computer.

i hava some questions:

1, the high sierra download from app store contanins firmware ?
2, needs change the hd5770 graphics card ?

Someone correct me, but being in a similar boat, I think it's Sierra to High Sierra with old EFI Graphics card, which does one firmware upgrade, then swap graphics cards to a new metal-supported card, then do high sierra to mojave, which has another firmware upgrade involved.
 
I don't know. I installed my metal card and then upgraded to High Sierra and then upgraded to Mojave. I only had 1 firmware upgrade. I'm running a GTX680 2Gb.
