It's probably fine... Stop holding them side by side and give it a few days. If you think your going to exchange your current 6s plus to match your previous iPhone...Goooooooood luck! Insane and almost impossible with the odds in favor of you driving an hour and getting exactly what you have now with maybe something else wrong.

Give it a few days for your eyes to adjust to the new screen and chances are you'll be fine with it. My 6 plus was on the cooler side and my new 6s plus is just pure white, which I noticed within seconds of navigating around. First thing I did was hold them side by side with my 5s as well, all 3 were different colors.

Trust me, give it a few days. If it drives you nuts by the end of the week, drive the hour and try and exchange it, but I'd try and hold out and see if your eyes adjust.

Te display on my 6S+ is a little cooler than the 6+ I had previously. I prefer the blue tint to the cream but it's luck of the draw. My iPhone 4 was massively cool, my i5 was very warm and my 6+ warm.

I had the 6 plus and now, the 6s plus. It's definitely warmer but doesn't bother me. It's gotten better over the last few days.

My 6s+ has a very slight cooler tint than my 6+. But I won't worry either way. If every phone I get always has a cooler tint than the previous one, then eventually I will have a blue screen. Getting a warmer screen means the next year you will have a cooler screen.

I find the screens in recent iPhones to be so good that the tint difference between devices are very slight, color accuracy across all devices are very acceptable.

My 6S+ is bluer/cooler than my 6+. I actually prefer the warmer screen, it seems easier on my eyes.

The only thing positive thing I can say about the new screen is that it seems to have a slightly better contrast than the old.

I think in general the screens this year are warmer. So long as they're not yellow and backlit for the most part well, it's not a huge deal.

My iPhone 6S+ has a warmer tint compared to my iPhone 6+... It isn't intolerable at full brightness, but it's definitely has a warmer tint compared to my iPhone 6+.

My new 6S+ is also warmer than my old 6. I actually like it more. It looks to be closer to 6800K color temperature wise. I placed it side by side with my 6 and the old phone is pure white which has more pop but skin tones look off. I enjoy photography and all my displays are calibrated to the warmer 6500K standard. My new 6S+ is still a bit cooler compared to my rMBP.

At the end of the day, it's all up to your liking and standards. You will get used to the warmer display and might even notice picture with skin look more accurate. Let us how things turn out.

Just compared my wife's 6 to my new 6S, and they seem exactly the same on auto-brightness. I did notice that when you turn the brightness all the way up on both, my new 6S gets a bit brighter than the 6, but they both seem very white (no yellow at all on full brightness).

My 6S Plus is very slightly cooler than my 6 Plus. They're really so close I called my daughter with her younger eyes in to confirm the slight difference.

After reading your comment, I tested the 6plus and my 6s plus. What you said is true! Good observation.
