For me, I do quick charges throughout the day. If I stop at home, I just put my Watch on my charger for whatever time I need and then put it back in my wrist to be on my way. Otherwise, I just charge it overnight like most. Even charging 15 minutes, the battery increases significantly. The Apple Watch seems to charge fairly quickly. I also use an iPad charger, which will not affect the Apple Watch negatively.

Two Apple watches?? :):apple::)

Yes... but both are the original version. I ordered the black one on pre-order night... then shortly after the rose gold one's came out (the version with the blue and rose gold nylon band) I got the pink watch. battery life was attrotious (spelling???) for me back then and worse now that they are older! but with two watches I'm able to wear one 24/7 except when in the shower!

having two already is what kept me from buying version 2 like I originally planned since IMO it wasn't enough of an update to justify and still plays a part in not getting the new version 3 (that and they don't have rose gold! I don't want the gold version!)

if one dies, i'll replace it since I'm used to having 2..... but I'm still good with my original series versions for now!

Wow. What's your usage like? I'm down to 70% in the first few hours of putting my watch on with maybe a couple dozen notifications every hour.

my originals (series 0) won't last all day! I put one on at 7 a.m. and I'm lucky if it' makes it to 7 p.m. i switch out watches when i get the 10% low battery notice.

My S3 battery has been really good - I’m still at 70% at the end of the day. In contrast, my S0 was at 35% at end of the day. Is there any issue with charging it to much, i.e., will the battery worsen if I charge it every night even though it is still 70% full?

The new gold is reallllly similar. Seriously. Side by side I see the difference, but out and about with my new S3, the color makes no difference. I use this same bands, including some with “rose gold” hardware, which matches pretty much perfectly.

With my original watch I usually charged it overnight with only aiccasionsl sleep tracking use (when I’d charged it in the evening and remembered to put it back on). Having bought an AW3, I routinely track sleep. I tend to wear my new watch for two days then swap it with my original one for an overnight charge. The old one can still get through the day with battery to spare but it couldn’t go two days and a night the way the new one does.
