I'm waiting for a set up I like. Until then it's just on my night stand. Don't see why it needs a cloth or anything special underneath.

Lying on top of whatever happens to be on my bedside table where the charger is. Sometimes that's an iPad, last two nights it was a few rolls of hockey tape.

Canadian dude puts his watch on top of hockey tape....damnit....I'll see your hockey tape and raise you charging on top of a cheeseburger....no wait! Apple pie!

That's what I don't get. The bottom is on the charger raised off the table. The bands are on the table.

You do know that this forum is inhabited by the deepest and darket Apple Geeks don't you? We're not 100% right you know! :D

:D It's a long story but hockey tape (and hockey in general) is my life.

Waiting for a dual iPhone/watch dock to hit the market. Which will be later this year before all the kickstarters and what not hit the actual streets.

For now I'll charge my Milanese loop exactly like the OP does in the original case.

I might try to get a way to make the cord prettier....just not sure how....

On my night stand with the band wrapped under the charger so the watch and the charger won't touch the surface. I have classic buckle.

My 3D printed charging stand I downloaded from thingiverse.

I charge mine in the case like in the OP's second pic. I keep the case on my dresser (no room on the nightstand for it as that's where my phone is). I've got a stand on order but it won't be here until the end of the month.

Mine just gets dumped onto my desk at the moment, I'm not babying it. Saying that I'm just waiting on my stand being delivered so I can have it sitting at my bedside, just for convenience.

Second that. The charger is on my desk. I drop it onto it whenever I have time. I keep the watch on at night.

I just have the charger on my bedside table with the cable in a little cable clip so it doesn't fall off the back and just drop my watch on it at night. Simple! :)

Seen a few of these and I actually think I might make a few for fun and see if I end up liking it. Gunna have to find some of those flat surfaced Legos for a remarkably smooth finish surface even Jony Ives would be proud of.

A few people have asked about my portable watch charger.. So here's a render of it.. When I get home tonight I'll be printing it out and will hopefully post a picture of the real thing.

it has a 2000mAh battery and measures..70x60x20mm which makes it easy to put in a pocket. Without the watch I can't really say how many charges it could do but I'd say at least 5 full charges. It will recharge from a standard micro USB connector.

I tend to keep a few hardback books on my bedside table.

I've also got an Anker 5 port charger to charge my watch, iPhone 6 and my iPad Air.

What I've done with the watch puck is just run it through the back cover of the book at the bottom of the pile, so it's a couple of inches away.

Then at night, I just take of my watch and lay it on the puck.

I've ordered a Spigen stand, but I'm not keen on the branding that they're now shipping with (which wasn't there in the promo pictures), so I'm not sure if I'll be keeping it.

I wear it all day and night, then charge it in the morning on the nightstand while I shower/get dressed. Goes from 40% to 90% in 30 minutes.

Well, I wore the watch all night. And used it a few times to check the time during the night. It dropped from 50% to 35% through the night. We’ll see how much power we can get back into it during the short time I’m showering.

That's a good idea! Or charge it in the car driving to work. Right now I charge mine in the case it came with, like in the OP's second pic.

Just been delivered Spigen Applewatch stand S330 reasonably priced at £15 ish think it looks ok.
