This, iPad 2 won't be such a great update, so original iPad will hold its value pretty well.

Actually I could see an iPad and iPad Pro sometime in the future.

As the iOS and Mac OS lines converge you'll see the computers become the "pro" line with the iDevices the "consumer" line.
I'm actually the same way. I so far have sold my iPhone 3GS, MacBook and even Apple in ear headphones to the same person, and she is also interested in my iPad when I plan on selling it. So I think I'm pretty set, she's my "sell my old apple stuff to" person.

I will look at the device and if it's made out of plastic then not care too much about it but if it's out of aluminum I will just be like "Aww I want it with all the new features and stuff" but not actually buy it because I have no money then wait for the 3rd or 4th lone to come and then buy that

If I made a wooden rocket and it was the 1st one I made, it would by default be called the Mark 1.

ill try and do what i do with my iphones sell my old one and then get the new one, if it works it works if not ill keep my ipad. but i wont even think about getting the new one if it isnt to my liking.

I've never heard that term.
I will not spend my time worrying about it as a iPad is not that expensive. I will decide what to do with my 3G later.
