Doesn't seem like that would really relate to iPhone 6 battery life.

I was looking at the iphone 6 battery life issue from a "Big Picture" point of view and seeing how the problem/issue might be addressed. Maybe Apple has a plan.

Poet Technologies is claiming that they can extend the battery on a phone so you would only need to charge it 2X/week.

Sounds like that would simply require new materials/technology, which is kind of expected if there are advancements to be made in batteries (as there have been in the past). It doesn't seem like existing batteries would somehow become that or something can be done to them to make them that way.
