Yea,I turned off the little icon that shows the "%" of the battery and now I don't worry about it,bitch about,pay attention....about it...And I enjoy the phone to the fullest knowing there is nothing I can do until Apple officially has a fix for it..


and oh yea,I charge it while I'm driving or if Im at home and have a port near by..5-10 minutes here and there add up to an hour or two charge at the end of the day.


Who knew,it was that easy.

That's exactly what I do and I have no worries. I have a charger everywhere because I am anal about the battery level going below half.

Same with my vehicles. If the fuel level goes below half I hyperventilate, get heart palpitations, nervous twitches and cold sweats.

It has to be full, full, FULL!!!
 
I never turned on my % since it became available. I figured it would just lead me to be overly concerned with how fast it was draining. Seems I was right.

HAHAHA you sound like my fiance, last night she said she DESPERATELY needed to fill up gas. I went to go look at the gauge and she was just under half.... i was like

I was actually going to make a similiar post entitled "How I turned off battery percentage and learned to stop worrying about battery life."

I have an iPhone 4, and haven't noticed any battery issues with iOS5, but was still always obsessing over the % left. OH MY GOD I'M ALREADY DOWN 3%! That little number was always there, staring at me in the face. Just for kicks I turned it off, and haven't looked back. As long as the battery meter isn't in the red, I don't care. I'm not constantly fretting about the battery.

Currently, I have the Battery Indicator ON, is that mean the % is off? Where in Settings do you go to turn on and off %?

That's amazing! Apple should make you their Go-To-Software Engineer whenever their engineers in Cupertino can't figure things out.

HAHAHA, I clicked on this thread thinking it was stupid- little did I know this is AMAZING! Seriously though, people need to stop looking. I have % just to keep track of it through the day, but I don't look at it that often...

When are people going to figure out here that complaining about other people complaining is just as bad, if not worse than the original complaints. Cause now guess what? You have double the bitching. Damn, I just added to it... 3X the bitching! Just let people vent if they want... who are you to tell them how to feel about a certain aspect of their phone? I figured out another brilliant solution... when you see a thread title with the word battery in it, don't read it. Problem solved. I'm gonna try and tackle world peace next.
