It looks like an EliteBook which is a business class laptop. It’s not really targeted to consumers and it doesn’t look that bad in person.
HP EliteBook 840 G7 to G8 model.

I’ve used, imaged and swapped them all at work over the last 3yrs now. 14” screens, no right side numerical keypad (the 10xx series does) and side up firing Bang & Olufsen speakers.

It’s a nice looking machine and comparatively to Lenovo Thinkpad T series (main competition) it’s motherboard chipset outperforms in performance but not by much but especially in storage speeds; like for like. Notebook review is the source.

These are about as close to a mix of ‘16-‘21 model MBP as a windows laptop can get. Can’t stand the G9 series - really ugly rounded edges and problematic Tb4 chipset.

Tale as old as time. The half-assed creative who made this used a Mac and lazily took a screenshot from their browser on Gmail and didn't look back.

Looking at the ***** copywriting and graphics here, though, was this even intended for the US market? What the hell kind of tagline is "..For all the necessary aspects of your job" anyway? Nothing to get people fired up than fulfilling the necessary aspects of their job!
Oh you mean like that Lemmings commercial. Lol.

Yeah Apple bombed with that one trying for the corporate market.

I like the calculator app. I've used it heaps of times and it’s always worked as a calculator app should.

Well consider: if you’ve ever used a programmable HP-48 calculator, you’ll find it can work with equations, it has a full set of trigonometry functions, it has graphing functionality. In short for anything even slightly mathematical in nature, it is a superior device to the Calculator app.

Now a computer is capable of running Mathematica. I’m not saying that every Mac should come with that level of functionality, but some kind of a halfway house, where you have a decent level of mathematical functionality available.

The calculator app, in comparison, was made for housewives, not scientists or engineers.

Saying it was made for housewives is a straight misogynist comment. Not cool.

But it’s a calculator app and was clearly never made for scientists or engineers. Why should Apple even consider making something for that? Ridiculous.

It actually looks a lot like the Envy I bought at Costco, except for the black keys on the keyboard. *shrug*

Someone needed 'a computer picture', and rather than call their PR department and likely go down a thousand questions and create tons of paperwork, someone just grabbed 'a picture' of the internet. Apparently they had never seen a MacBook Pro, or they DID, and thought this was 'the perfect joke' to play on management. Hah!! 😆😆😆😆😆😆
