HP EliteBook 840 G7 to G8 model. It looks like an EliteBook which is a business class laptop. It’s not really targeted to consumers and it doesn’t look that bad in person.
I’ve used, imaged and swapped them all at work over the last 3yrs now. 14” screens, no right side numerical keypad (the 10xx series does) and side up firing Bang & Olufsen speakers.
It’s a nice looking machine and comparatively to Lenovo Thinkpad T series (main competition) it’s motherboard chipset outperforms in performance but not by much but especially in storage speeds; like for like. Notebook review is the source.
These are about as close to a mix of ‘16-‘21 model MBP as a windows laptop can get. Can’t stand the G9 series - really ugly rounded edges and problematic Tb4 chipset.
