Literally my thoughts as well. Image is just fuzzy enough to cast doubt on any copyright issues.Probably did this on purpose to go viral.
It's kinda working. Here we are.
To be fair I’d rather have an etch-a-sketch than a surface.Agreed. The HP Z line - which you could probably say are a step above again from 'business' class - are very good Windows machines, and I'd be quite happy to be issued one for work over say a Surface Pro.
I wonder if this isn’t a prank also. Not like someone would do something that dumb or could they.So this is confirmed to be real and posted by an official HP account?
A 2009 PowerBook. Right. That ad is marketing for Apple whether they show macOS or not. Looks like a 2009 PowerBook.
Yeah, a marketing agency that may never do ads for HP again.Guessing it's not from HP, but a marketing agency they hired. Could be the agency decided they wanted to show a working PC, so they Photoshopped the display with what they thought was a generic Gmail screenshot, but didn't pay attention to where the screenshot came from.
Yep, rocking here a ZBook Fury G8 17" with XEON cpu and NVIDIA RTX A5000/16GB graphics.Agreed. The HP Z line - which you could probably say are a step above again from 'business' class - are very good Windows machines, and I'd be quite happy to be issued one for work over say a Surface Pro.
Yeah that's my first thought too - this is a horrible ad and doesn't look like anything a professional would create. The copy is weak, has a typo, and the image is poorly done. It doesn't even mention the name of the product. This looks like some silly little mockup a student or someone made for class. So this is confirmed to be real and posted by an official HP account?
Even HP knows that the perfect laptop runs MacOS. 🤣Well they did say "perfect laptop"...
No. This is not the work of some silly designer using macOS only that decided to take a screenshot of his own screen and snap it in the image. That is almost impossible to be the case.
