It's crazy how people will shill out their referral codes, like HQN, just to be able to get an extra life. It's really just spam and I'm surprised mods haven't removed those comments yet.

They won't because the author himself included his code in the damn article. It's deleted now but in my RSS feed reader

I'm glad someone removed it. I was reading the news on Saturday thinking to myself...this may be the post that gets me to stop reading MACRumors...and I still actually ask here. Is there an RSS feed for only the Mac portion of this site? I don't care about iOS rumors or games (that should be restricted to Touch Arcarde since MR has an outlet for that).

If the authors want to promote their stuff OR link to things that aren't rumors or actual news I'm seeking an alternative place to get mac rumors.

Of course, they'll probably delete my post for being off topic but I do hope it's addressed either an an editorial decision or offering more RSS feeds by categories.

Maybe pure coincidence, but very soon after signing up I was bombarded with telemarketing phone calls. Reviewing their privacy and terms documents, it's not at all clear whether this is permitted. But it would make sense as to their business model:

- create strong incentive to get *real* info from players (otherwise no $$ for you!)
- sell / loan / lease that info to "partners" or "affiliates"
