Yes, we do.

I feel like they could release a turd made of solid gold for 20 grand and some people would be like...wow, this is the best turd I've ever seen. When can we pre-order?

What? You don't think it's worth it? Maybe the brown one is better for someone like you.

JK, but seriously I just don't get it lol

An average America turd is 2.2 lbs, so an 18K one would be worth almost $31K. I'd buy that $20K turd in a heartbeat! LOL :)

I can't wait to connect my Apple Watch Edition to my Apple iPhone Edition and sync that to my Apple MacBook Edition. I'm going to get the Apple Warranty Edition for the whole lot. Downloading Apple iTunes Edition now...

Sorry to break the news, but didn't you hear Apple just went Platinum?

Honestly, no matter the price people are going to complain. People still complain about iPhone prices like it's news and they've been virtually the same for years. It could be $2,000 and the people that wanted the exclusivity are going to complain that too many common folk are going to get one.

I just fixed the turd's dimensions in photoshop if anyone wants the attachment. Print at 100%. I attached a pic to see what one looks better in my toilet. I thickened it up with cardboard to give it girth

4k is certainly in the ballpark;) anything under 5k is a good bet, I still think they will go for a slightly wider audience under 3k.

I don't think Apple aims the Edition to reach wider audience. But I'll be very disappointed if the SS is too expensive like Gruber predicted.

I would say the SS will be 549 and may have 16gb of storage unlike the 8gb on sport, many will jump up to the SS at that, and Apple will be above it's typical 250% markup.

I really don't think their aim is to make the entire edition line just for the ultra rich, I mean 2500 is bad enough, but 10k is not happening, at least not at entry level Edition watch with sport band.

I mean hasn't anyone seen the Edition on Apples site? It has the sport band on it, now who thinks that's going for 10k? If it's so exclusive they would not display it with the rubber band.

The more I read into this, the more I think it could even be a little under 2500 as an entry level edition, of course there will be higher Edition models.

That would be pretty interesting. I'm not sure why anyone in the right mind would consider their watch some kinda unique identifier or whatever.

It seems to me Apple thinks it's going to sell a million of these gold watches.

Now there is no way they are selling that many for $10,000.

Funny we hear $10,000 thrown around, I would have never came up with this number, most would be thinking 4k tops.

So you push this $10,000 number, so e think $5,000, then you announce $2500/3000 and the press and internet blow up on how reasonable it really is.

That perspective would have not happened, people would have seen $2500 and thought it was nuts.

Now when they announce $2500, many crazy people like myself will consider buying it:D

How do you make $2500 seem reasonable, and have the press write articles about how great of deal the gold watch is..... tell people it will cost $10,000 for half a year.:apple: illusion;)

Apple has had the same thing happen in the past - most notably with the pricing of the original iPad. Prior to it's announcement, most people thought it would cost around $1000 for a base ipad and once it was shown to be $500 it was thought to be a great deal.

Yup, crazy oh well I was wrong, right on the money on the steel though:D
