Just checked on a few entries from November 7th (my call history only goes that far at the moment) and the "Recent" identifier is correctly present for all of them.

The only difference is that instead of being highlighted the number has the "Recent" identifier now. Seems like the logic is the same just different way to display it to the user.

November 7 is less than two weeks ago. For my entry from November 3 I have no such "Recent" label next to any number. Do you think I am lying? Because otherwise I don't understand why you keep insisting that there is always a Recent label next to the number.

I didn't say or imply anything about your experience, I simply shared mine which seems to differ from yours. The entries in the call log aren't really time based for the most part as they are based on the number of them, I believe it's the last 100 that are stored (and it's doubtful that 7th vs. 3rd would play that much of a difference one way or another).

I don't get the question.

My call history shows:

<Contact Name> <Time called>
<Phone Number Label>

So if I had "Friend" with 3 phone numbers (home, work, cell) and I called each, my recent history would be:

Friend 3:00 PM
home

Friend Yesterday
work

Friend Tuesday
cell

If i used the same label for each number, then I wouldn't be able to tell them apart. What's the alternative?
Is the "flaw" that it doesn't also include the phone number?

In previous versions of iOS the actual number used was highlighted once you press "I".
Look at the pictures from my call history, you'll notice that in the first case there's no way of telling which number I used to call X... L...

I see your problem and it would be a good idea to include numbers next to labels but I guess Apple want it clean and easy. Also you are able to label them so you can identify them.
