For me at least, I've noticed the updated interface for a week or so now. Definitely welcomed though.

I've lost track of how many times I've cursed at my tv over their terrible UI. I'd like to think it can't get any worse... hopefully this update doesn't prove me wrong.

So, if I have Apple TV do most of my streaming services come over. Hulu, Amazon Prime, Acorn, Brit Box, movies and tv purchased through Apple? Is it a back end, or it replaces the Apple TV device? Thanks!
It would replace your Apple TV check out some YouTube reviews

I know this is probably impossible, but i wish there was an Apple TV app that would truly unify all my different video streaming services, not just do a sampling.

The TV app tries to do this, with varying success.

If this is the Hulu interface that I've had for the past few weeks... it's still garbage. Especially if you have Live TV. Trying to manage/figure out the DVR recordings is hell. They need to scrap whatever they have and start over fresh.

Yes, the Tv app. Does try to conglomerate various streams. But is anyone finding it links to Apple purchases, and ignores others streaming options you might all ready subscribe to for instance a specific movie available across various streaming service? Maybe this is my imagination?

We still have an old 3rd gen AppleTV in my bedroom with the old Hulu interface, and it was way way more useable.
And while the design is dated, certainly... it's so much more usable.

The UI of the ATV3's apps are definitely dated, but in many ways, they are much easier to use. This is especially true for the Netflix and YouTube app.

If there was a way to have the ATV3's Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube apps on tvOS, just updated with Siri, I would use them over what is currently available.

What I’d like to see is an end user customization of several templates in order to reduce clutter.

Finally! This is long overdue. The only UI worse than Hulu's is Amazon Prime Video.
Hmmm... I like Amazon Prime Video's interface over every other. When I open it, I go back to where I was and the suggestions of what to watch next are spot on. With Hulu and Disney+, I am tossed into a patchwork of garbage that has absolutely nothing to do with what I was in the middle of or finished before I left the app.

Hulu's interface is finicky but tolerable. Search is unintuitive. Content adds forgiveness though.

Unrelated but visually relevant: Reese and Kerry in "Little Fires Everywhere" is better than Reese and Jennifer in "The Morning Show".

Tolerable? It's so bad that I skip using it most of the time. It's an exercise in frustration and a waste of time. I also disagree that content brings forgiveness. I don't care if they have every title that ever existed. If it's a burden to use the app to find and watch it, it's not worth it.
Mine hasn’t updated. Must be a staggered roll out.
Ditto. I'm still looking at the old abomination.

Add me to the list of people happy to see this. The current interface looks nice, but is really illogical and dysfunctional. Netflix is way easier to navigate.

As much as I’d like a new interface, I’d live with the crappy one if we could just get 5.1 channel sound on the AppleTV!
For real. I mean why did they even update the interface and put in the time for that if that can’t update something that should of never been there 5+ years ago.
ill continue to use my shield for Hulu till they update the real issue with their app. 2 channel audio should be considered a felony In 2020.
