Ultimately I think Apple could probably gain some good will while also still giving Epic a middle finger, by saying that they'd slash App Store commissions to 10% for developers making less than ____ a month. Insert whatever number here that allows Apple to lose a bit of money but make small devs very happy, while still not giving Epic, Tencent, and King what they want.
I think the tiered system is the best option. Give the small devs a chance. Meanwhile Epic pays all of the same fees on the console stores as they do on the App Store but don't have the balls to mess with them. (Unreal Engine licensing makes them the real money on the consoles)

If you're that desperate to play Fortnite mobile buy an Android device and side load. Or, get a real gaming PC with much better graphics and experience.
Or the Nintendo Switch is better than any mobile phone!!

Yes you would! If you sign out of that phone all the apps are de-authorized. It's something that you need to do on your phone when you are selling/trading it at a store. Even if the binary is there you can't run it unless your account has the purchase for it. If your account has the purchase on it then just re-download it from the App Store. It's not for sale anymore but it's available for download.

Meh, the game is fun for sure on iPhone but not it's just an iPhone game, not like you can play it on anything but.The likelihood of me purchasing one of these phones is about the same as Epic winning against Apple lol.

The logical next step is for the Fortnite iPhone eBay sellers to object to listing fees and then get banned for launching their own auctions outside of eBay on their eBay page... :D

I don't get it. If you have ever downloaded Fortnite onto your iPhone in the past, it is still available in your Appsotre app history and can be re-downloaded...

Maybe if you want something relatively low cost like the Switch Lite for $199 but hardware specs and performance are mediocre with 6.2" LCD at 720p 30fps with frame drops compared to something like Note 20 Ultra 6.9" AMOLED at 1080p 120fps.

Had checked this afternoon and only one had been sold on eBay. That was an Xr selling for about $200 over its new price (even though it was used).

But just one, eh. Seems like this is mostly optimists putting phones out there at rediculous prices and media making something out of mostly nothing. JMHO.

Useless when Fortnite requires a new update.

I do t get who would buy this? Wouldn’t fortnite fanboys already have it installed on their device anyway? Who would care enough to pay thousands of dollars and not already have the game installed?

People can just buy an Android phone and install the games they want. I guess these phones are catering to a very unique niche: those who are fans of both iPhone and Epic Games.

I thought that when Apple pulls an app from the App Store then it will no longer launch or run so this makes no sense to me.
Am I wrong?
Please correct me if I am.

If I've $4,300 at disposal I can build a full gaming room with highest end gaming computer, large TV sets, and good gaming furnitures. Why should I play the same game on teeny-weeny smartphones ? I really can't understand that.

ROFL, just ROFL.
Guess there’s always people desperate for something, absurd or not. Maybe lockdown drives them crazy somehow.
