With the holiday season coming up I'm looking to get my husband something unique. He always just says get him a gift card but i hate doing that because I like the hunt! for a good gift! Anyone have suggestions?

You can never go wrong with those...at the very least it'll be applied to a purchase of something he wants. Either a gift card to his favorite store or a general VISA, AMEX or MasterCard type.

Depends on the person, I don't drink so if my wife bought me a bottle of scotch, I'd be looking at her like she had two heads.

I imagine you would, after you'd drunk a bottle of scotch.

Buy him a gift that you would like to get. Then you are guaranteed that at least one of you will be happy .

I know all about the "hard to buy for" crowd. A few years ago my wife and I give up and bought everyone tickets to show right before Christmas. It was Terry Fader. Incredible preformance! The hardest part was getting a date everyone was available and keeping it a semi-secret before getting there. But in the end we all had a great time. And it's a memory we all share.

That's actually a great Idea for a Christmas gift, especially if you have a number of people to buy for at around the same price point...
