Except for their 100 GaN charger, other Hyper products (mainly their hubs) were faulty and the company unresponsive. I stay away from Hyper products though the "specs" on paper look nice. These are bulky items. I do not see them being useful for travel. But the specs for the AC adapter would work for a remote office I travel to, are interesting. I will wait and see what Anker comes up with for the new MBPs.
My GaN charger stopped working but my 100wh battery ive used since launch. Rattles a bit so something is loose inside but works completely fine. I just ordered one of the competitors tho as it also has magsafe and a Apple Watch charger built in. Otherwise id recommend their batteries

I've had older HyperJuice battery packs (MBP-150), from older MacBook Pro laptops, and find them brilliant. Great when on vacation, or on shoots in places like Monument Valley, where a power outlet can be hard to find.

Is there any competition for the adapter (non-battery) one? If Anker made one, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

1. I don't trust this brand, given their awful past reputation.

2. Established companies using crowd-funding is pathetic business behaviour. If your previous products were successful and worth buying, you should have built-up capital from these earlier products to invest in new product releases for such non-capital intensive products – not rely on online crowd-funding, like new companies might need.

All this funding 'campaign' is, is pre-orders without the backup of retail return policies which most developed countries globally have for faulty goods (which this company has plenty of past history of doing!).

No flipping way I'd buy this way.
