Well, I skipped the iPhone 4, so my 3GS is pretty long in the tooth also with a battery that doesn't get me through the day. If no iphone this fall, I'd have to get something. If I get an iPhone 4 now, it would mean I waited nearly a year and a half for nothing. I think I'd go for one of the more modern 4" androids to hold me over.

I'd probably reluctantly pick up an iPhone 4. My 4-year-old blackberry curve 8320 is on its last legs, and I'll be damned if I end up with an Android phone.

why avoid an android phone? there are some awesome android phones out there at the moment.
Definitely enough currently which put the iPhone 4 to shame - which to me is enough reason to know that Apple will release an iphone 5.
They can't be seen to be lagging behind. They have to at worst least keep up, or if they can find a way, leap frog ahead of the competition.

What is wrong with you? Do you not have a life at all?

One day when you grow up you will realize that there are other things in the world than a new cell phone! Do you know who the president is? If you are looking for something to worry about, this should be first on your list!

Coming from a guy who posts in just about EVERY iphone rumor thread in the forum, you've got room to talk. Combine that with the fact that you think it's "concreet" (haha) instead of "concrete", and the joke is that much more funny.
