So this is a decision I had to make and I thought it would be fun to see what other people would decide:

If you had to choose between buying your iPad 2 as soon as it comes out or waiting 3 months and getting it as a birthday present what would you choose?

(I'm not asking for you to help me decide, I already did, I'm just curious to see what other people would do)
 
I hate waiting 😀

However a free ipad is tempting 😛

If I already had an ipad I would wait, if I didn't I'd buy, I couldn't imagine life without my ipad now.
 
Considering my ipad 2 will be a christmas gift when I get it, and I will have waited about 3 months, I can say I would wait lol
 
I'd wait. I have my iPhone and Kindle to get me by and there's nothing I desperately need my iPad for. That's not to say it wouldn't be an extremely LONG 3 months though...
 
Patience is a virtue.

I'd wait and bide my time with something else. But then my birthday is 7 months away and I never get any expensive presents anymore.
 
Personally I would get the iPad now and ask for money for my birthday to reimburse for the cost of the iPad. Best of both worlds.
 
If you have iPad 1, wait for the present. If you've sold iPad 1/don't have try managing without it. Its worth waiting for a free one😀
