hi there, sorry to bug all of you again, but i did the exact same thing. i was wondering if anyone could send me the dock.app file to download? it would be so helpful, thanks in advance. i'm frantically searching for anything to get it back! aahh!
 
You can recover the file from your computer's restore disks with Pacifist.

How does someone "accidentally" delete their Dock, anyway? Oops, I accidentally opened a system folder, and then another system folder inside that, and then I accidentally dragged a file called Dock.app into the trash, then I accidentally entered my password when prompted, then I accidentally emptied the trash. :confused: No offense meant, but that takes a deliberate kind of bull-headedness...
