I am getting tons of Spam after joining here!

Why am I all of a sudden getting tons of spam just shortly after joining this site? I used an email address that wasn't public here (because they don't accept Hotmail accounts), and since then I've been bombarded with spam.

Are the Admins here giving out our email addresses??

Sorry I'm late to the post... but to reiterate... email addresses are 100% private. We don't use them for anything or distribute them.

Wow, long time no hear. Good to see you back, however brief. Sorry it had to be under such circumstances.

Considering we haven't heard anything from the original poster since, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
