If you are going to use the TV as your monitor then I recommend that you go directly for DVI and avoid VGA.

That is one issue I was having with my DP, hopefully I can put the quad on my desk and try to ignore the damage

I'm just going to comment that I put a 7800GT(Apple OEM) in my Quad this morning, and I can already notice a difference in general responsiveness of the UI. The 6600 wasn't bad by any means, but the 7800 provides a noticeable improvement.

So I just got back from my trip to Virginia, my grandparents are getting rid of all of their computer stuff, my grandpa fell and hit his head a while back and can't remember how to use a computer. But anyhow, I got a 1B HDD and 2.5GB DDR2 RAM from the old computers. My other friend may be giving me 2 more GB of RAM so it'll be at 4.5 GB RAM. I'm gonna order a power cord tommorow and hopefully it'll be here by the end of the week.
