I used to send private messages to forum members, but today I noticed I cannot. I go to a member's profile name, click on the down arrow only 3 items appear: date, postings, and likes.
I did find an old post (OCT 2014) the provided instruction on what to check in preferences, but I could not find the, "When sending private messages....folder by default."

I have sent private messages in the past.

Help.

Click on the avatar or name of the profile instead, then you can choose to start a conversation.

There is not "Start Conversation" icon. Only the Follow and Ignore.
And for the record, it's not due to not sending enough messages. I'm way past that.

Wait a minute. I can send messages to some people. Is it possible that the person I wanted to send to has that option blocked?

That's possible. Can you try to send a private message to me?
