They should have visited an Apple store to compare

2 problems with that suggestion:

1. As far as I know no store anywhere has the 1.3 on display so as to be able to compare it with the 1.1; and

2. In the U.K. at least, there were no display models AT ALL until the 24th of April so no 'in the flesh' comparison of any sort was possible for a whole two weeks after the official launch date.

The fault, I'm afraid, lies squarely on the shoulders of Apple.

Having said that, I ordered just one. I'm still waiting...

Unfortunately they are not really available in Apple store yet to see (Not sure if you smiley was an indicator of that). But also, it can be a bit difficult to asses wether 1.1 og 1.3 Ghz is suitable for one, by playing around with a store machine..
