iPhone I deleted apple maps!! Help!!!!

Do you just need the maps.app folder in
/Applications ?

The folder inside the .zip is named maps.bak you'll have to change that back to maps.app

Also I'm on an iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.

Clearly they need merging or one removing.

Probably permissions. Use iFile to correct the permissions. I used iFile to copy this to Dropbox and then zipped it using my Mac. That would have affected the permissions.

I'm glad you like my posts. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to post much lately. I've been slammed at work. I've only had one day off in the past 4 weeks! Definitely looking forward to having my weekends back! Haha

Sorry OP for going wayyyy off topic. Let us know if simply copying that folder back to your device does not work. I might have a couple other things you can try. Good luck!

I have NO idea. And, I'm sorry, but I don't have the time go go through each and every file inside the app folder to find out what they are.

The only thing I can suggest is to set it so that it's open to read/write/execute by everyone. That of course exposes you, but that app may run. Or not.

on ifile go to / and then find application and then there should be maps.app click the blue arrow and look at the permissions

Hopefully you won't have to but it may be your only choice, then..

Next time be more careful and don't go deleting stuff you're not supposed to.

Still a decent suggestion.
I never use apple maps at all. I stick to either navigon or google maps.
Not a big deal.
