Because it implies that Apple wastes time on arbitrary features that only a wedding party DJ could care for...I don't care about that reason. Why are so many people against them putting in MORE features for christs sake.

Because they're the ones being rude first.
Their reply to me was "crossfade sucks, no one should use crossfade, they shouldn't put crossfade on the iPhone"
In other words, because they don't like crossfade, no one should get it. It doesn't hurt anyone to put crossfade, a basic feature of music players, on the iPhone, a really advanced computing device, but helps everyone who wants it.
you were rude first by demanding crossfade tho......
What? How is it rude to demand a feature that should be there for an "iPod" phone?
demanding is rude, requesting is not. if you had said "i would like the ability to have tracks crossfade" that would not have been rude, instead you have stated "i demand crossfade!!!" like a spoilt child demanding ice cream....
Well I don't care about being rude. Seriously. I'm not a pushover, sometimes you have to be rude to get what you want.
Let me say it again.
I DEMAND CROSSFADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was just pointing out that you said the others were rude first, but they weren't, you were, now you're admitting you were rude? maybe you should go to your room and have a think about that lol
Plus demanding anything on here won't get you anywhere. Apple do not read this, go stick it in their support forums, or use the feedback link that someone provided earlier in this thread. if you keep on just demanding in here, then you're just attention seeking and need to get out more...
I'm admitting I don't care about being rude. But I'm being rude towards Apple. Other people here are being rude towards people who want crossfade.
And, I know.
you totally miss the point, you come on here being rude, no matter who to, people will be rude back. you come on here and make a respectful statement, you will get respect back. blimey, how on earth do you get thru life?? lol
Well then it doesn't bother me.
It just strikes me as odd how selfish people can be... "I don't want it so you shouldn't have it"
Oh really? And how much is A LOT? Cause I don't know anyone who even bothered with this function on previous iPods or in iTunes. Maybe A LOT is just only you (and wedding party DJs)...Oh theirr precious time might be used up. christ
and it's a feature that I care a lot for. A LOT of people like it too. Stop being so selfish. You know it's not a problem of wasting Apple's resources. Some of you people just want to starve others because you don't like the taste.
How is it that Apple's flagship product, based off the iPod line, still not have a feature that other cheaper iPods have?
Well I Demand that you go find Mr Jobs and then tell him that he needs to implement Super Duper Beat matching Hybrid Crossfade with extra wedding party DJ effects or you will Jailbreak you iPhone and install android on it.
When the music player app on the iPhone was built, every feature had to be evaluated and written from scratch. They probably determined that there was not enough demand for the feature, or that a proper implementation (beat matching) would be too time prohibitive. All I want is a nano style crossfade.
Why would i care about the selfish notion that "I don't want it therefore you shouldn't have it"
Add me to the group that has requested cross-fade since the ipod 4G.
As far as I know, Apple has only included it in one device, and that's the last Nano.
Something tells me they probably stripped that out as well on the new Nano-shuffle.
Everyone has different ways of listening to their music.
If you heard everything how the artist intended it, you would have to remove the shuffle function as well.
Just give me crossfading, and if you don't want to, at least let developers write apps that can do it.
All due respect to the last poster, there isn't an app for that.
Even the expensive DJ apps won't do it because Apple won't let them.
