i'm actually asking my clients about this, and they agree that adobe is the best. i'll look into it.

freelance translating is good if you have a solid referral list. you need a good reputation, and clients that are willing to vouch for your services. it's easier said than done, but as far as software goes, i have many colleagues who stand by trados. give it a try. whilst not perfect, i don't think it's bad.

you'll definitely enjoy it. i come from a 1.33ghz and am blown away. you'll feel the kick even more. ;)

Never thought I would quote myself heh, but I can now say I am in the "Mac Pro Owners Club" :)

I got the stock dual 2.8 today, won it on ebay and collected.
Just transferring everything off the 2.8 Imac Extreme then that is going up for sale. Might have to put a "feeler" post up on the marketplace here to see what I might get in the UK :)
