Logitechs Master MX 3 takes abit of getting used too. At first I was ready to return it but the feature that allowed me to use 1 mouse for 3 computers was novel and held my interest
Adjusting the settings to your liking will give you an edge and convince you that it’s a really good mouse

Thanks so much for sharing your experience here. Congrats it fits you well.

How is the scrolling / zoom in/out experience? Any lag issues especially with scrolling?

I will go to my local Best Buy store today and try one out too.
No. No lag. Wheel feels solid, not loose like the M720.

I use Smooze Pro as a mouse driver (mouse acceleration and scroll kinetics), so the scroll speed is customizable.

Pretty well satisfied.

What settings are you referring to specifically? I still feel I’m slower using it versus a regular smaller mouse. I have been using it for 3 days straight. I feel I’m more efficient using it work time but I will try my former Asus mouse to see if the difference is still as big.

I love their keyboards, but I also was not a fan of the mouse. It just didn't feel natural to me as much as I liked all of the features it offered.

What do you use then as a mouse? I don’t really like they keyboards either to be honest

I use the magic trackpad. I hate Apple's keyboards and magic mouse.

I like the trackpad on the Mac but I don't think it's comfortable using on a desk for a long period of time compared to a regular mouse haha.

Mac trackpad is great, but is unusable if your job requires anything fast and precise, eg 2D/3D design and stuff like that, basically anything beyond browsing/light Office stuff.
I would disagree in some ways. I think its subjective. I'm a graphic designer professionally and I defintely find a mouse 'faster' in ways. However, I started using a magic trackpad as my main peripheral years ago and became very profiecient with it. The multitouch abilities can speed up a lot of things.

Try Logitech's MX Anywhere 3. I was using Apple's Magic Mouse for a while but finally got tired of it constantly wanting to swipe through webpages due to inadvertent gestures. The Anywhere 3 is very comfortable.

I agree with you. I'm a designer by trade and used the MX Series since the Performance MX, and after the wireless gaming mouse market developed and there were way more options to choose from there, I moved to them and I am way happier than I ever was in the MX Series.

I am currently using a Deathadder V2 Bluetooth from Logitech and it's fantastic. It's lightweight, it tracks super fast, it's bluetooth, and it removes all the bells and whistles but the features that are there are all A+.

The Logitech MX Master 2 (the last version that I used) was heavy, there were so many buttons and features that went ignored for my workflow, and the Logitech software they require you to install was always garbage.

Im SO glad to read this thread. I thought it was only me who hated the MX Master mouse. I've tried so hard to like it but the horrible laggy performance and weird shape just doesn't cut it. I've never understood how many reviews and people seem to love it. I feel vindicated :)

Just to give a counterpoint of sorts, I have two MX Master 3’s, one at home and one at work. One is the Mac version the other is the regular version. I love them and have none of the complaints the OP has. It does take a little getting used to the size of you are coming from a smaller mouse. But the tracking, buttons, feel, etc are all great for me.

Having said that, a mouse is a very personal thing. What works for one may not work for another. My suggestion is to purchase from a place with a good return policy and try out whatever mouse you are thinking if. Try to give it a solid week or two before making a final decision.

I bought this one, I think it’s the 1 or 2. Amazon keeps it vague. Mine came without a single and is called Mac version.

Logitech MX Master Draadloze Muis, Bluetooth of 2.4 GHz Unifying USB mini dongle, 1000 DPI laser tracking op elk oppervlak, 5 Knoppen, Amazon versie, PC/Mac/Laptop - GrafietZwart https://amzn.eu/d/aAQdq2M

On promotion in 2021. Good mouse for at home.
It’s too big to take it with me to college so yesterday I bought a Logitech pebble mouse.

To be honest, except for the ergonomics, the pebble is much smoother to use.

Yup. Trying to do anything more than the most basic of spreadsheet tasks is a nightmare with a trackpad.

have you installed Logitech options+ (downloaded from Logitech website) - it has all the customisation features, and you're missing out on all the benefits of this mouse if you haven't

you can download custom mouse configurations for every app program (ie have the scroll wheel scroll up and down in excel, and zoom in and out in your browser and it automatically switches settings between programs without you having to do anything). You can also customise these yourself ie have the scroll wheel increase/decrease the volume if you so choose

there's also Logitech flow - you can connect two laptops and copy and paste from one to another - I use a windows laptop for work, and Mac from home and can do this between my work and personal computers. you can work across both devices as well, when connected (with the same mouse)

lastly - RE comfort - this mouse has to be held differently. further back, with your palm closer to the desk. I'm a petite female with small hands and don't have any issues at all holding this mouse. in fact, had carpel tunnel prior to using this which is now gone

I don't have any lag on either of my computers, but if you do, use the Logi bolt usb adapter with it, and that will dissipate any lag issues you have.

Highly recommend giving this mouse a proper try - it's AMAZING!! (I have 3 of them - 1 for work, 1 for home, and one in a travel case for being out and about)

on another note - the Logitech Mx Keys keyboard also has the keyboard customisations, backlight, works with Logitech flow using keyboard shortcuts, and can switch between 3 devices as well. it's a winning combo with the mx master 3s!!

I hated the MX Master, so you're definitely not alone. Mice are very personal. I do like the MX Anywhere and Vertical mice, and I like Apple's Magic Mouse (because I use it as a finger mouse). My daily driver has become the MX Vertical.
