I do need a bigger iPhone and that's the only reason why I bought iPhone 6.
5S is still a great phone and 4'' is still the right size for plenty of customers, so I hope Apple will continue to produce "small" phones in the future, since I like choices in the smartphone market :)

Great, you like a smaller phone. Nobody cares, move on with your life. Cool thing about opinions is that everyone has one!

I think you should be more confident about your purchasing decision and not have to justify it to yourself by justifying it to everyone else. [/thread]

I just like to create a good discussion.

Would have been nice if they had spent that TWO YEARS keeping the 5 form factor and eliminated the bezels to achieve a bigger screen. I'm thinking

1. Those with the skillz to do that were fired/quit

2. No company with the skillz wants to deal with Apple any more. I think Apple has ZERO friends in the industry now. That "pants" comment speaks volumes about their arrogance.

6 is fine to me, 6 Plus in the other hand is big.

Though 6 is smaller, it's almost impossible for me to reach at the top of the screen with my thumb without having to move the phone while it's in my hand. I either have to use Reachability or my other hand to do that.

To each his own,as others stated in so many words.

You prefer one size, I prefer another. Still others prefer an Android phone, selection is the name of the game.

Apple needs to make a variety of iPhone sizes and not force everyone to buy this gigantic displays. We could've gotten a 4 inch iPhone 6.

ITS NOT FAIR

ITS NOT FAIR

Fairness has nothing to do with it. The industry trend is moving to larger phones. Apple is just responding to the market conditions. They don't feel that they'll make the same level of profit with a smaller phone pure and simple.

If you want a smaller phone, you'll have to move to a different platform.

Or I could just stay on the same platform. Like when they made the iPad mini, they eventually make their way back around.

A big phone will get tiring quick

Seriously, another thread on this?

If you like the 6/6+ , great! Get it.

If not, who cares?

Posted from my iPhone 6 Plus

Different use cases demand different form factors. 4" is really amazing for portability but when you want to enjoy rich content or content creation, 5.5" is a huge advantage. Understand your priorities and get the device that matches them best.

Yeah! Who cares about opinions? Every thread should just be cold statements backed by hard facts. Good idea.
