If you had cell phone insurance you would only have to pay $50 to get ot replaced.

AT&T told me that they do not do insurance for the IPhone. Where else can you get insurance for the phone? I am a firefighter and NEED insurance because my phones get damaged at work all the time.

I use my State Farm homeowners insurance. 50 a year. Covers everything.

I dropped my iphone 2. I was trying to show off my brand new phone to my freind and had a lame belkin leather case on it so i decided to take it out of the case. I was standing up on friend's tile floor, pushing on phone (about hip level) to get it out, then finally the case let loose and I sent my phone flying through the air. My phone landed screen down, I was just dreading, feeling the pain of having to spend $$$, i picked it up and not a blemish??? Couldn't believe how f**ing lucky I was. Now I have an incase slider.

Sorry to hear of you accident, you aren't the first and certainly not the last. umm knock-on-wood. If you paid with an AmEx card it might be insured for a couple of months. I sense a it might be time possible stop off to http://ifixit.com or something of the sort for a little instruction.
