I exchanged my phone because of yellow issue

My reserved one at the apple store had the yellow stain too. Store replaced it immediately. The other will get refurb'd. Thnx to this forum that I was able to check beforehand.

I got my phone from ebay, im picking it up tomorrow. If mine develops the yellow screen issue and it doesnt go away after time what will i need to get it replaced, or will i have the hastle of having to contact the seller and getting them to do it? couldnt i just get the receipt or something from them? the seller had it delivered by the way.

As long as it's legit, just take it in. If it's stolen, well... Also if you bought a non UK model (you seem to be in the UK) they will have to order a new one for you that corresponds to the county model you bought.

Lol, no its legit, and luckily i won it before the prices went crazy. Ive just been reading all these stories about people having the yellow dots/lines, and im starting to dread getting it home tomorrow, then waiting for it to activate and frantically check the settings page for any issues. Il get the receipt from the seller just to be safe. I just didnt want all the hastle of contacting the seller and waiting for them to deal with it then getting back to me. Fingers crossed i get a good one though!
