Post really good pictures from multiple angles. If your phone is unlocked, put it in your headline. Mine was something like:
iPhone 3G 16GB UNLOCKED for T-Mobile or AT&T
A lot of people don't know what unlocked means, or that they can't get an iPhone on T-Mobile, but if they come looking for a T-Mobile iPhone, guess which ad they're gonna click?

You answered your own question. I posted my iPhone at this price about a week ago, and started talking to potential buyers. Right now, there are about twice as many phones on Craigslist as there were then.
By Wednesday, there will be so many on there, with people trying to undercut each other, that the going rate for my 3G would probably be about $200 or less.
No one wants to be without their phone, but they don't think ahead, and they'll lose money. A few days without my phone is worth the extra $100, and it means I get the 32GB instead of the 16GB now.
I buy high-end gadgets all the time and sell them after the next big thing comes out.
Here's the deal. Most here on MacRumors are gadget savvy and aware of the new iPhone. It seems you all are selling your's "jailbroken?" If thats the case, the buyers are also gadget savvy.
Some believe it or not are not aware of the iPhone 4's release date. Some don't care and just want an iPhone cheap. They'll buy it from someone they know on the 24th or whenever.
The buy-back company that I sold my 3G to AFTER receiving my 3GS had a limited buy-back window, but I was able to get what I considered a great price for it. And I don't want to risk something going wrong with my order and not having a phone for days on the idea that no one will buy it at a reasonable price. I don't believe that yet. I could be wrong, but I haven't been yet when selling my old gadgets.

What do you think the going price will be for an unlocked 16 GB 3GS after launch?
