i fell down and dropped my macbook as well :(

I would search on eBay for a similar broken model where the top cover is good and swap it out. There are plenty of ones without “guts” available. Like you, it would bother me too!
 
I fell on some ice last winter and landed hard on my back. I was wearing my bookbag with my 16" MacBook Pro in it and I managed to dent the back right corner even though it was inside a neoprene case inside my bag. Over time I've forgotten about it. It gives my MBP some character. I'm over it.
 
I am pretty sure that the dent looks better on the laptop than it would on your face. Thankfully neither you nor the laptop were hurt.

Unfortunately the only way to fix that is a new screen. I don't think it's easy to take the screen apart I'm afraid. Maybe you can? But I'd imagine there's some serious glue holding the top cover and screen together. I dented my MB Pro once in the side, it's not a big dent and I could probably easily fix it as it's accessible, but I never bothered to.

Wait, this is covered by Applecare+? I have a similar but smaller dent with my machine.

Maybe I should avail it and also change my battery at 90% 😀
