I finally decided to sell my 2 months old 2012 MBP

I'm going to sell my 2 months old 2012 MBP 13" and but the 15" 2.7 Ghz with anti glare screen.
I used it yesterday for half hour at the Apple store and the anti glare screen brought some memories back, I remembered my old 15" core 2 duo..

There is no 13" retina model available. But I agree in thinking 2.7 is more of a waste of money.

yes is the top of the line MBP 13" with i7 2.9 Ghz. I've installed 16 Gb of OWC Ram and a Samsung SSD 830 128 Gb.

I need a larger screen and little more firepower and being able to mount a second SSD so I can use the new MBP for my graphic design and video editing.

I would seriously not waste money on the .1 upgrade. Save it for a bigger SSD or just something else entirely. You will not notice an an ounce of difference between 2.6 and 2.7.

SATA3 exists in both bays on the 13"...

yes but in the optibay is unstable and you can only install a HDD to have it working while a SSD would have erratic performance. And that's a bummer!

I'm married... and I won't be getting the MBP from the AS.. and I don't care of looking cool with it...

and from the way you talk I guess you have some experience in picking up chix at the GB...

2.7ghz upgrade is a complete waste of money. 2.6ghz is the best option IMO. That's what I got.
