I'm going to sell my 2 months old 2012 MBP 13" and but the 15" 2.7 Ghz with anti glare screen.
I used it yesterday for half hour at the Apple store and the anti glare screen brought some memories back, I remembered my old 15" core 2 duo..

That extra 2MB L3 will come in handy:rolleyes:
My 2.6 is pretty cool when operating. Hopefully the 2.7 is no hotter.

 There is no 13" retina model available. But I agree in thinking 2.7 is more of a waste of money.

I would seriously not waste money on the .1 upgrade. Save it for a bigger SSD or just something else entirely. You will not notice an an ounce of difference between 2.6 and 2.7.

Why 2.7GHz and not use the 2.6GHz and save some $$ for RAM or bigger drive?

I totally agree with you, but when someone is this hot for a sexy new laptop do you really think you can change their mind with logic?
