k Thank you, will make a trip over there

I have the anti glare but I cant get used to the reduced screen resolution. Thought I could but couldn't haha

No problem...I will be heading there as soon as I get my iPad 2. You will like the Crystal Film MUCH better.

Thanks to everyone!, I will try any of this, I found another scratch but this one is invisible, the first one makes the pixels look like a rainbow.

How are you guys getting these scratches on your new iPads? Aren't you using a case or something when you're not using them?

As for me, I'm going naked (well, other than my Cygnett Lavish folio) until I can get my hands on a Power Support screen protector. I've now tried two screen protectors from other companies and they both sucked so badly that I'd rather take my chances with a naked iPad for another few weeks.

I have a couple on my iPhone 4 like that. I figure it's inevitable that the screen will get scratched if you use it all the time. I got one of the scratches right after I got the phone but haven't seen any new ones since. Luck of the day I guess.

Isn't the iPad (and iPod & iPhone) glass scratch resistant? When my girlfriend was shopping for an iPod Touch, the guy at the Apple store scraped a key across his iPhone glass to show that it didn't scratch. It was a convincing demonstration.

They are scratch resistant. Not scratch-proof. There is a difference. Sand definitely can scratch an iPad screen.

You found another scratch that's invisible?

If it makes you feel any better I have a slight scratch on the aluminium back, a small abrasion on one of the corners, and another abrasion on SIM card release hole.

This is all straight out of the box from Apple.

Nothing is perfect. Gotta live with it.
