I GOT CHARGED TODAY 4/24!!! (thread)

Mine too is in prepared to ship today, I'm in NY so I'm hoping it comes tomorrow
 
mine has been on prepare for shipment for more then 2 hours. still hope for a saturday delivery.
 
Well still nothing over here...honestly at this point I just want them to charge me so that I know there is some progress being made....I don't think a wave has started today except for a few charges earlier this morning and that wasn't much of a wave....gosh I was hoping for Monday delivery at the latest but it looks like it is going to go into the middle of next week optimistically!
 
i chated with apple support and they told me they do not do saturday delivery.

not according to UPS website they do saturday delivery :confused:
 
Ha. I chatted with apple and they said they do have sat delivery. Not that it will help, apparently.
 
i dont think they know what they are talking about. they did not know how long my order will take to go to shipped either.
 
Got charged mid-day eastern time, sitting on preparing for shipment... waiting for it to cross over into the land of shipped so I can find out if this is a Saturday or Monday package.

Why does anyone contact Apple support? The answers they give are ridiculous and can't be trusted. For instance the Apple Rep who told someone yesterday that all the watches are made in the U.S.
 
probably just a delay on mine going from prepare for shipment to shipped.

saw this with my charger it shipped the day before it went to shipped.

UPS can do Saturday delivery but it costs quite a bit extra, Apple doesn't ship with Saturday delivery. If its already at the destination hub you can sometimes call UPS and pick it up from their warehouse depending on where it's at in the process.
 
Well with a launch like this apple should consider a Saturday delivery for the ones who preordered first #

I work for UPS. Saturday deliveries are very expensive. Ex. Next Day Air on Mon-Fri would probably be around $50 for this size of box. Saturday Next Day Air would be roughly triple that cost. If we get them to your local hubs in the morning as in where the actual trucks get loaded then there is a good chance of delivery in the morning. I know at my hub we usually do a courtesy upgrade for Apple products since its actually cheaper for a Part Time Saturday driver to deliver than to pay a Full Time driver during the week. Just giving some insider info.
 
someone got a confirmation email from theres that shipped today and the date was 4/28

probably not getting mine till tuesday either then :rolleyes:
 
Looks like no Saturday delivery-mine shipped today by way of UPS Next Day Air Saver and the delivery is scheduled for Monday the 27th. Oh well-still beats the heck out of mid to end of May so I'm a happy camper! :)

not tuesday the 28th like some other people that just posted? location?

mine is stuck at prepair for shipment still :mad: this seems longer then normal.
 
My credit card was billed today and my 42mm SG black sport is preparing for shipment. No idea when it'll actually ship and arrive.
