Except when we shipped our watches to work expecting Friday delivery. Office is closed on Saturday but I'll be home. If o try to pick it up at ups they'll say it's on the truck.

UPS can do Saturday delivery but it costs quite a bit extra, Apple doesn't ship with Saturday delivery. If its already at the destination hub you can sometimes call UPS and pick it up from their warehouse depending on where it's at in the process.

Apple has done Saturday delivers for pretty much every product launch

I am in a similar spot, same model.

42 SS BSB - 00:03 confirmation on 4/10 - Georgia - Processing - Received EOD - CC charged 5:15 am 4/23 - No UPS tracking
 
It looks like there is not going to be a wave this afternoon here...I think all the jets landed and nothing has changed...I really figured that we would get some more preparing to ship notifications today...

Card got charged around noon today. Order now in "preparing for shipment" status.

Edit: Just got shipping confirmation. Deliver by Monday

My UPS guy said they would probably be doing Saturday deliveries mainly because they are signature required and a lot of people aren't home during the day (though he did also say that it seemed like a lot of people took the day off to receive the package). Maybe it's not an official Saturday delivery, but it seems like UPS would do it just to clear out the backlog.
 
I ordered the next morning 42mm white aluminum and it initially said June. Got charged this morning and has shipped to me will be here Monday.
My 42mm Stainless steel link is still in process.
My girl is going to get hers before I get mine :confused:

I ordered Green and Space Gray Sports; Green is here, Gray is not. At least she will be happy for the weekend :)
 
Got my delivery notice and it is going to come on Monday. No Saturday delivery. Still excited, but have to stay patient a bit longer...:rolleyes::D
 
Card was charged this morning and received notification of shipment an hour ago for my 42mm Space Gray Sport for delivery on Monday! My wife's 42mm White Sport will deliver today.

If I were Apple I would have started to build up a cache of inventory a few days/weeks ago and if that is exhausted, it means everyone else will need to wait longer.
 
So honestly...do you think people will see the watches by next Friday or it is actually going to take until the 8th of May!?
 
Well a large quantity of people got charged just before 11:00pm EST but I was not one of them. Somehow people in the next date range of delivery's are getting charged before some of us with the 4/24 range.

I don't think that is right no matter where in the country you are, etc.
 
Got charged this morning and order went to prepared for shipping this evening. Hopefully Monday delivery for me :p
