This is obviously a photoshop/troll post.

Zoom in using any image editor and you will quickly see that the dot was photopshoped on there using a 5 pixel wide brush stroke.

You can notice that all the real holes are elliptical shaped and match the lighting/depth, while the dot in question is a 2d patch added on there.

I'm with you on this. There's actually a thread on 4chan's /g/ board about this thread right now. All it takes is a bit of searching....

Looks like a spec of dirt to me. My i7 had some smudges of what I believe was machining residue on the front edge. It didn't want to come off with gentle rubbing from my finger so I sprayed some iKlear Apple Polish on a microfiber towel and it cleaned it right off. I suspect the "extra hole" is simply a dot of dirt.
