iPad I got one early

There's 2 on my way home. Called 3 walmarts here in Miami and nobody knew anything. Typical Walmart for u
Congrats! I'm going from an iPad 3 to an Air also (hopefully tomorrow). Did you have iOS 7 on your iPad 3?
No mine was jailbroken 6.1.2. I just jailbreak to theme the UI and keyboard. Other then that stock.
I know that feel.
One concern for me is fitting it into my current small camera bag. The mini fits perfectly. The Air will be pushing it.
Another is typing. It drove me nuts to type on the 4. I never got used to splitting the keyboard. The mini is perfectly sized for typing. Someone said it's better on the Air because of the smaller sides, but the size of the onscreen keyboard isn't smaller.
kind of feel like checking out my local walmart and best buy to see if they're selling it early.
Zero chance best buy sells early, they won't even take it out the back till tomorrow morning
We share the same pain....Good luck to you. I'm going to grab a 32 space in the morning. Just return it if I am not happy. I can always use my Nexus 7 if I need portability
+1. My local store sells nothing early, especially anything Apple. They have third party cases on display and for sale though there.
I stopped by to see if they had it on a kiosk to check it out. No dice but it was only a 5 minute drive at least.

I have a 2013 Nexus 7 and the current Mini as well and that is why I'm going for the Air. I'm not sure if I would go for the Mini 2 if I don't like the Air.
I just called a Walmart in my area and the woman who answered the phone had a snotty attitude. Asked her if she knew of any iPad Airs out yet, and she said like three times that the iPad Air wasn't due to come out until late November. I told her that the Air is coming out tomorrow and the iPad Mini comes out late November... she didn't believe me and said she was going to put me on hold to check it herself.
10 minutes later, she comes back to me and says she didn't see any on the shipment they just got, but also had the audacity to tell me AGAIN that the Air wasn't due to come out until late November.
Sometimes, I question the competency of these people...
