Yeah both are late 2011 unibodies. My friend wants anti glare and i want glossy, so instead of getting expensive display replacements - we thought how fun to swap out entire guts of each to the other !!! It is Halloween besides.

Yes sir they are, both late 2011; the same size; unibody - mbps just one is glossy 2.4 and the other is anti glare 2.5.

Yep, im not getting any problems anymore, maybe it was just the 2011 versions that had the messed up displays
Also that's how I noticed, when I called apple they were saying things about 2011 models
You noticed that it was the wrong model and chose to keep it? Then after the return period ended, you decided that you no longer wanted it? They exchanged it months later? You are one lucky person.
