iPhone 11 Pro I guess the pro isn’t as durable as we thought

Just got my pro today from fedex and driver had me open the box cause it was re taped. This is what I find.

This is kind of a strange post. The Fed ex driver had you open the box because it was re-taped?

Anyways, you can’t really blame the iPhone Pro for not being ‘durable’ because your phone was mishandled by the carrier. Those are two things are not mutually exclusive.

That’s not easily accomplished. I’ve seen my brother throw his ATA tree and didn’t look anywhere near that bad. They can definitely be broken but that looks like it was used for batting practice. Crazy someone knowingly shipped that.

Finally got another one ordered. 3-5 business days but I won’t hold my breath. I ordered this one sept 23 and it came today so it wasn’t to much of a wait. Hopefully this one comes in sooner than later.

Replacements are fast tracked - it will be there when they say it will be or earlier.

I meant someone/somewhere during the shipping process knowingly put it on a truck, plane etc aware that it had been mangled.

I don't know why, but these pictures make me laugh. How the hell does that even happen? Never seen a new phone disaster like that. Hope you get your replacement phone soon OP.

It happens! back in the late 90’s, i got a brand new AIWA stereo system the ones with the speakers, component decks included. Opening the box brand new in front of the sales guy shocked us both - entire unit inside was SHATTERED - broken into pieces! Styrofoam all broken up into bits too! So I believe the OP‘s story because crap like this happens.

I kinda posted it being funny not being serious. Nothing would of survived. Not sure how it’s a strange post. The fedex driver has delivered me 4 phones just in the last 2 weeks so he probably noticed this one looked different. I’m glad he said something. Attached is a screen shot of tracking info and it says delivered but damaged.


Unfortunately the new one says oct 14-21. I’m on phone with them now trying to figure out how to get one sooner.

Finally got the phone yesterday. So far loving it. Atnt did me good by sending me a free accessory and I got the lifeproof next case. They also waived all 4 activation/upgrade fees. It’s a bit getting used to not having a home button. Only two things I think are better with home button is taking screen shots and getting the app manager to close out apps. But I’ll get used to it. So far so good and an awesome upgrade from the 8 plus.
