I guess there is no 16 inch MBP for this year.

Despite what many people said, there wasn't any special event in October, they didn't announce it at the end of Oct, and nothing has been confirmed.

We don't even know if 16 inch replaces 15 inches or not. I assume that 16-inch will announce in 2020 on either WWDC or October special event.

I would probably gonna wait till next WWDC.
 
Does Apple really need an "event" to announce a new 16" laptop? Apple could just dump it to their website and let the world find out about it on their own. It's happened before. The year's not over, folks. Still got the rest of November and all of December. Bite your nails and let's see what happens.

It’s not a guarantee, but Rene Ritchie couldn’t attend this week’s MacBreak Weekly podcast. Often times when he can’t make it, he’s traveling for a good reason. Again, that’s just a hunch but there may be an embargo dropping this week.

it isn’t a typical Christmas gift, so my guess is that Apple isn’t necessarily in a hurry to release it before the end of the year. They may be stocking up inventory before the proposed tariffs hit, but the distribution chain gets crowded this time of year with other consumer goods.
 
Don’t know if announcements will be tomorrow. “Apple day” starts on Friday at 4PM eastern/1PM pacific @ Apple Park.

I should also add that this event is produced in association with Apple.

True, but also don't see Apple announcing products or dates on a Friday afternoon either.

Has Apple ever announced hardware at FCPX Creative Summit? Even an order page of previously announced product like Mac Pro?

While I think 16" MBP will be tied to Mac Pro order page going live, I don't necessarily think it will happen tomorrow. I hope to be wrong of course.

I hope the 16" will appear soon as well.

I'm having one of my laptops replaced by insurance and I don't want to replace it with a crappy butterfly keyboard model.

Apparently iMac Pro was first seen demoing software at this event couple years back unless I misunderstand

Yup, but we're approaching the holiday season and so Apple is prepping its existing product for the holiday crush and not releasing new models. Granted they have done so in the past but its a rarity. The odds of a new product in 2019 is between slim and none - And slim left town :oops:

Sounds like those Spring rumours might turn out to be.

Either way I'm not sure if I'll pick up the 15" 2019 in discount (as in for 1899 or 1999 euros) or wait for the 16"
