so you're a student. I recommend you take this as a life lesson. There will always be people who hate things, don't let it get to you.

They hate macs - so what, that's their opinion, just move on.

@ the OP::

I personally will talk about Mac w/friends and family, but if someone wants to argue, I just drop it & walk away. I don't want to try and convince someone to "convert" who isn't interested.

For one, it's a waste of my time & breath-they're probably not worth either. For two, I'm just fine having a cpu w/a much smaller market share. It means that I'll have more personalized service, fewer viruses, and be buying a cpu from a company that is probably trying much harder to be better, so that they can move up the food chain.
