... since I upgraded to iOS 7. I can't use anymore without constantly hate it! I wish I could downgrade, but then I hear I'll lose all my data... this is so depressing. Why did Apple release such an incredibly torturing OS!

Embrace change. Stop fighting it. iOS 7 is much better than 6. Sorry to say. But if you hate it now, go buy an Android device :)

No way to downgrade.... if you really hate ios7 sell your phone and buy another one that was not updated.

PS- ios7 is obviously hear to stay, so eventually you will need to have 7 on your phone.

:apple: really shouldn't force people to stay with it. If they like ios 6 better, they should be able to go back. But, this is :apple: we're talking about

I like iOS 7, and the fact that it's torturing someone like you makes me like it even more.

Why did the release it? Well, it is fast...

No it's not!
I'm experiencing an extremely annoying lag with the on-srcreen keyboard.
Scrolling in the settings or any OS menu lags as hell as well.

And working with the new OS requires me to think more, because it's not as intuitive as iOS 6 was, thus I'm much slower on 7.

Why yes, thinking is such a horrible thing to have to do…..

You press the home button. There's nothing on the screen but your wallpaper, text and the camera icon.

It's that clean.

You swipe to the right. All of your apps are there. They're crisp. These were made specifically for retina display. They are more crisp than classic iOS. If you have a black iPhone. You could put a black wallpaper on it and literally it looks like the apps are floating because it blends with the bezel of the phone.

It's that crisp.

If you're in Safari. You can have so many pages open at once without ever reloading then every time you switch back. Going back and forth is as simple as swiping left and right.

It's that advanced.

Do you have a iPhone 4?

Yes, I have an iPhone 4. I know it's old and that's why iOS7 maybe lags on it so terribly, BUT if the was to slow to run iOS7 on it, why did apple mandatory released 7 for it? They want to torture their customers so that they switch to a new overpriced 5s?

I don't agree with this advice. I've been an Android convert for two years and I've actually come back to iPhone because of iOS 7. What exactly is it that you hate so much? For me, what brought me back was:

  • the refreshed look and feel
  • the ability for apps to run in the background
  • Control Center. Finally I can access quick settings without jailbreaking.
  • excellent support for Google services (thanks to Google's recent iOS app updates)

I still think iOS could be improved with regard to notifications but overall, i'm enjoying iOS 7 more than Android.

Is that because you used iOS6 for ages and if you give iOS7 a while it will become intuitive as well?

What is so refreshing about this new look? The color abuse makes me want to puke, things (like buttons) which were previously visibly clear in their function are now a painful guess. I never know whether something is just plain info text or a click-able function. Everything is flat and icons are just a lazy design work, there is no love in them. The GUI maybe fits a pre-school audience with all the crazy colors, but no me!

I cant think of one occasion where i've been hunting around for a button that i couldnt find quickly!

I actually agree with most of this. The underlying functionality of iOS 7 is great, but the new look is abysmal. iOS 6 had rich colors, fine details, and lots of thought and energy invested in making things clear and easy to use. iOS 7 is stark, empty, and cold. It has all the warmth and appeal of a bank of fluorescent lights in a bedroom.
