I'm holding out for a Caudabe Veil - now that is a true ultra slim. I'd go naked, but these aluminum phones don't play well with nakedness. The Veil is the next best thing.

Does the Metal Slate have a bluish tint? If so, I want it!

Spigen color clarification:

"Metal Slate" matches the iPhone 5 "Black Slate" perfectly, has a blue hue to it.

"Gunmetal" matches the iPhone 6 "Space Grey" perfectly, has no blue.

Would something like the clear Spigen have enough of a lip to prevent face down drop shattering? Thats my biggest concern. I've dropped my 5 face down a hundred times and the Mophie's lip has protected it every time. Would this do the same?

Alright, I ordered the NEO Hybrid Metal Slate on Amazon for $15.99 shipped. Best one I could find for now, and want something for launch day. Even if it doesn't end up being my permanent case, it's only $16.

Maybe this will help:

Caudabe Veil usually is the slimmest case but they are still producing theirs.

NVM. Didn't see you were referring to the 6 plus. Above is just for the 6 but it should give you a rough idea.

Those measurements make no sense.

This is what I got for my iPhone 6... I think I remember the Spigen site saying they were available for iPhone 6 Plus too.

My Spigen Air Skin ($16) arrived today and it's exactly what I wanted. It's an extremely slim case just like the Caudabe Veil ($15) case I had for my iPhone 5s.

If you're looking for a slim case, this is the one to get (at least for now). It looks like the iPhone 6 with this case will be thinner than a naked iPhone 5s.

Here's some quick pictures I took comparing it to my iPhone 5s:

Will the camera still protrude in the back or is there enough lift?

Same here

But the thin is

I hate anything that covers the phone!

Some heavy duty covers are really slim, but they change the whole look of the phone

I like to see the original phone I bought, & feel the slim size

But I'm also heavy user, and honestly after few months of taking extra care of my new device

It will start to get accidents and fall here and there

Since the new 6 & 6P are all metal, I don't want to get any dents on the edges! (Like my 5 & 5S)

Been trying to find colorful bumpers

But the ones I found so far are those 2, bumper but with clear back

But I was wondering was the prices of Spigen's in amazon are much more cheaper than in the site?

What's the difference between the Neo Hybrid and the Neo Hybrid EX? Is it just the clear back? Do you have any opinion on the EX?

Red does look pretty good though.

Image

This is the case I got. I didn't want a clear back. I didn't want people knowing off the bat i was carrying a 6 plus.

How are you guys getting the Spigen cases already? Most are showing they aren't available until Sept 30?

Amazon and Spigen have been selling them for weeks. However they may have recently sold out.

Holy balls, I think I may have found the perfect one. I searched a list of the top slim iPhone 5 cases to see which of those had iPhone 6 Plus cases ready for order, and I came across this Mashable article:

Which lead me to the Pinlo case for iPhone 6 Plus (0.38mm thin)

What do you guys think?

I think you don't need a case.

Here's the thing- you only need a case for drop protection. Apple's construction of screens and cases simply do not allow for scratches under normal usage, so unless you put your iPhone in a bag of rocks or a purse with a bunch of keys you have zero need for a case.

I put my iPhone's in a minimalistic bumper because a) I know the screen/back won't scratch and b) if I drop the phone a few times a year the glass won't shatter.

These super thin cases aren't doing anything in my opinion. Want to change the look? Get a skin. Want drop protection? Get a bumper. Want neither? Go naked.

I am looking at it Amazon, and it's actually 18.99 shipped, and says will be in stock on 9/15. Not sure would be delivered by 9/19.

Yes please post pics.

Here are photos of my son's iPhone 5S in Space Grey against my new Spigen Neo Hybrid EX for iPhone 6 in Gunmetal (the proper color match for Space Grey). Tough to capture the color precisely as the rounded edges of the case reflect light differently depending on the angle, but it's practically a spot-on match.

Took a shot of the 5S inside the 6 case so you can see the increase in size. In some of the shots you can see his phone in the same Hybrid EX bumper for the iPhone 5, note that the new model has chromed buttons which look more upscale.

Is it hard snap-on plastic or a more flexible silicone-like case?

Can you take a pic from the side showing how thick it is compared to the iPhone 5S?

How non-slip is the case surface?

It's a hard case, but it's so thin that it's quite flexible.

Not sure. The pictures don't show that angle.

No photo, but the iPhone 6 Spigen EX is lower than the iPhone 5 Spigen EX by about 10%. You can see it and you can feel it.

I want a super thin to protect from key scratches or other inadvertent rubbing. I want to be able to lie my phone down on a table without worrying about what I put it on. And I want to feel like I'm going naked. That's what a super thin is for. It's not for everyone, that's for sure. But it sounds like there's a pretty sizable number of folks on here that fit the profile.
