the other day and so far ive played it non stop i havent rushed to complete it im just takeing my time i love it.It's alot like kotor 1/2 but better in so many ways but if i had to pick somethink wrong with it i would say that your team a.i is silly at times i.e getting stuck onto walls running into a full on lazergun battle for no reason.but apart from them small gliches its ace im finding it hard to put down what dose everyone else think of the game ?

How bad is the performance issues for you? Some reviews say it's pretty awful, same say it's not a biggie. I know there are frame-rate and tearing problems, along with sometimes buggy AI but I wonder does it affect gameplay?

Haven't played that much of it yet but I'm at 1080i - and can't say the FR is that bad. Yes there's an occasional hitch, but nothing so detrimental to gameplay.
Frame Rate is similar to PS3 version of Oblivion if that gives you a good comparison.
Tearing - seems to affect VGA & HDMI more so than Component on the test I did which was strange, but it still wasn't that bad. Sure it takes a bit of the polish off an otherwise fantastic looking game but hey ho, certainly not the end of the world.

The performance for me isn't really that big a deal. It gets choppy in some parts but it never seems to destroy the game IMO.
I wish it was more open ended. So far it seems much more open ended than KOTOR, but not as much as I was hoping. If they decide to make another KOTOR with the advances made in Mass Effect (which seems likely now that they are apart of LucasArts), it will be a mind blowing game.
I've been playing this quite a bit on my 360 for the last 2 days. I've played it on both my 52" projection HDTV on 1080i and on my 37" LCD HDTV on 1080i and 720p (using component for both TV's). I haven't experienced any FR or tearing problems yet. The soundtrack is great too. I've spent about 1/2 the time playing this game with my Sennheiser headphones on and it's awesome
Overall I am loving this game. I have suspended my Bioshock playing for this until I am done. My wife is about 4 hours into it as well. While I do miss lightsabers........this game seems to be better than both KOTOR's.

I love the game. Frame rate issues - they're there, but minor. It doesn't bug me. And it's FAR better than KOTOR.For those who have played it:

No, I'm going to pass on that.
The game does have some frame-rate issues and pop ups but it doesn't distract...at times. I'm taking it real easy on this game taking my time with it. I noticed(shoulda notice this from oblivion) but these games has too much talking...blah blah blah...not very interesting IMO but when the action starts its very entertaining.
Overall its a good game....I would rate this game 8/10.

The dialog is in itself an integral part of the game. I'm playing it more for that aspect rather than the combat. So far I've found the combat kind of boring, but I love a good story. That's just me though
RPGs have always been about character development aka dialogue. If it wasn't for the dialogue it would just be yet another scifi shooter where you can use the force.
