Lots of orders will be fufilled tomorrow is what my friend from UPS called and said.

I received notification today the two bands I ordered are shipping tomorrow.

It could be Apple is making another large distribution.

He seemed to believe all the flights into Kentucky will move us past all April 10 preorders.

I highly doubt your friend has any insider info about what's coming, when & how much.

With that being said I sure hope he's right!

Threads like this open up every time at the beginning of a product launch. Unless he's flying the plane or driving an 18-wheeler full of watches, it's really just speculation. And anyway, even if he was flying the plane, it might be that all of those watches are headed for the stores.

New bands will be announced on Friday as well.

I doubt that...they can't even ship the ones they have announced. Besides even if they were to announce new bands they'd probably wait until WWDC.

even if he was flying or driving the shipment personally I'd still highly doubt that he would know exactly what's in his truck.
You gotta figure, if your a truck driver who knows there's 300 thousand dollars worth of apple watches in the back chances are there's at least one guy who's willing to take the risk of getting "robbed".

Personally I ordered April 19th & got a 22-29 window for June. With things speeding up production wise I'm barely expecting to get mine a week earlier then that.

Guys, you never know how much a UPS driver knows. When I went to pick up my wife's 38mm WSB on launch day(I requested pickup) sharp at 9am, there were already a couple of people at the UPS customer service center. The lady at the reception smilingly asked me if I was there to pick up my apple watch as well! Turns out there were 4 watches with her on hold for pick up and I was the third in line to pick up mine. She was worried about the security of the fourth one if it happens to be there for too long.

When I called UPS a day before for requesting a hold, the automated voice prompt identified that it was an apple product(nothing specific about the watch, just "apple product") by the tracking number as it was mentioning that a signature was required for the delivery.

Impossible to prove everything. OP could be right/wrong, but given all that is happening around this launch, I am ready to believe this. At least that'll keep me positive to hope for an earlier delivery :)

OP is totally telling the truth. My barber's sister has a cousin who once dressed up as a UPS driver for a company Halloween party and he got second place. Anyway - he thinks that Apple put pressure on UPS to delay shipment on all other deliveries other than lifesaving medication, so...

OP - I'm not jabbing you. Well, kind of, but... The bottom line is that nobody knows. Read flightaware. Read tea leaves. Flip a coin. Everybody that ordered any configuration within 48 hours or preorders could get a watch Tuesday... Or we keep churning along at the same pace and it just is what it is.

Well I have no idea if the OP has good information or not. But this view that "nobody knows" is just not true. There are guys driving the trucks and flying the planes. There are people involved with shipping these thousands of products. They do actually know the freight they are carrying. They can talk about it or not. Heck it isn't like delivery dates is a top secret thing.

If a UPS center receives a ton of Apple Watches I bet the guys at the center will know about it. Huge Apple shipments are actually a big enough volume that Even an organization as big as UPS is going to notice.

Wow, just the band? I ordered the 42mm SS w/ Milanese and got it on launch day.

It's weird. The link bands shipped before the watches with link bands, but the Milanese Loop watches shipped before the bands. I got my ML band last week.
