I didn't. I dare you to go through my post history and find somewhere where I said 4" was the perfect size.
LMAO. Dare dare double dare! LOL! Where did I say "you" did? You could be sure I wouldn't waste a minute of my time being concerned about what you did (or did not) say. Don't take it so personally. Besides, didn't you see the "smiley face" after my comment? Seesh, it's only a friggin' phone not your next of kin. You'd think I was insulting your mother by your reaction.

I find it really funny how a couple years ago when Samsung INTRODUCED the Note phablet just about everyone here said how it was such a stupid idea because it was so large and said they'd never buy an iPhone bigger than 4" because 4" was the perfect size. LOL. Hippocrates! :)

If Apple offered a 4” iPhone with similar features and specs as the iPhone 6, then I certainly would have upgraded to that one instead of the iPhone 6. I'm glad Apple offered a Phablet for those who want it, but a phone that size just isn't for me.

Who's over reacting again?

I held an iPhone 6 and 6 plus in my hand today...

I disagree.

People change their mind you know. Plus, nobody was expecting the tsunami of super sexy content/services apps that has rushed into the ecosystem, thus increasing the value of larger screen real estate.

Funniest is that people like to label others! Yes, I have have changed my mind on screen size, and yes I am one of your "Hippocrates".

Are you happy now?

Why are you exclaiming the name of an Ancient Greek physician for no apparent reason?

"Hippocrates of Cos or Hippokrates of Kos (/hɪˈpɒkrəˌtiːz/; Greek: Ἱπποκράτης; Hippokrátēs; c. 460 – c. 370 BC), was an ancient Greek physician of the Age of Pericles (Classical Greece), and is considered one of the most outstanding figures in the history of medicine. He is referred to as the father of western medicine[1][2][3] in recognition of his lasting contributions to the field as the founder of the Hippocratic School of Medicine."

Or did you suddenly recall that you needed to place an order for crates for hippos as pictured previously?

 ???

After years of using a 3.5" and 4" display, (even if I have tiny hands) i am stocked in getting my iPhone 6 plus delivered to my door hopefully this Friday. My impressions of the iPhone 6 4.7" display is that there is not much of a upgrade in terms of screen size or features. However if they had put a 5" display on the 6 with all the features of the plus, i would have found it hard to choose between the two.

If this is true, confirmed, I think I will have no choice but go with the plus.
Please let the RAM be 2GB in the 4.7''.

I've held the 6 Plus and it isn't impossible to hold with one hand. I was able to type on it somewhat one handed... but had trouble reaching the letters on the far left side but it wasn't "too big" for one handed holding.

They're both 1GB.

What did you end up picking?

Not I. I have no plan to buy the 6+ AND I'm unhappy that I'm basically forced to go up in size if I want to continue updating my iPhone.

I don't think its forced, I am really set on the 6, it is an upgrade, but it is a little bit irking to see this looming "phablet" with a plus that is with this larger phone... which is making me hesitate. It will suck if Apple ends up releasing a 6S next year where the normal 6 gets 2GB of RAM, saphire screen, higher resolution screen, and optical image stabilization..... and the 6S Plus gets some other update like 13MP camera or something.
